Light and Stormy Cocktail Recipe

Monday night cocktails aren't generally something which happens, but after a tough few weeks at work and a crazily busy weekend, I couldn't resist a refreshing something-or-another. This is a Light and Stormy, adapted from the classic Dark and Stormy. To make it, I used one of my new favourite spirits - Bacardi Oakheart. It's a gorgeous dark rum, with an oaky essence, perfect on the rocks or mixed up.

It's super easy to make. You just need 25ml of Bacardi Oakheart, two wedges of lime squeezed over ice and topped with cold ginger ale. To make it a Dark and Stormy, switch the ginger ale for a ginger beer - I'd definitely choose Crabbie's Alcoholic Ginger Beer, but thought that might be pushing it for a work night!

Check out my Raspberry Mojito recipe too! Have a great week x
