Guinness Storehouse - The Gravity Bar

Right at the top of the Guinness Storehouse in St James's Gate Brewery, Dublin is the Gravity Bar, with 360 degree views of the city. Apparently, it's the best place to see Dublin from a height, looking out from Phoenix Park right around to the Wicklow Mountains.

When you pay to get in the Storehouse, you naturally get a free pint of Guinness at the end. We redeemed ours in the Gravity Bar, waited patiently and enjoyed the views over the city whilst sipping our lovely cold pints.

The bar was busy, but we eventually nabbed a few seats and relaxed in the sunshine, people and city watching from height. The weather was so beautiful that it actually got quite warm sat by the window - good job we had a refreshing Guinness to cool us down!

We were up in the Gravity Bar just after lunch time on a Saturday afternoon in June so it was quite crammed and hot, although it was definitely worth it for the beautiful views and complimentary pint.

After the Gravity Bar, Ash and I made our way down to The Guinness Academy and poured our own pints! More on that next time :) Rosie x
